Toolbox Workplace takes the practical skills psychologists teach one-to-one and adapts them for the pressures, conversations and stress that come with any job.
Workplace wellbeing support usually arrives late: an EAP number for when someone is already struggling, or a one-off talk that doesn't change what happens on Monday.
We work the other way around. Each workshop is built in three 60-minute parts (the concept, the tools, then practice) and has people work the tools against real situations: a piece of feedback that stung, a conversation they've been putting off, a week where everything landed at once. The aim is for the tools to be familiar before they're needed.
Every workshop is written and structured by practising psychologists, not adapted from generic training content.
Plain language, concrete examples, and tools people can explain to a colleague afterwards.
Framed around feedback, performance, workload and team dynamics, not clinical scenarios.
The tools in our workshops are drawn from the same therapeutic approaches psychologists use in practice, chosen because they're practical, well-researched and translate well to everyday situations.
Cognitive behavioural therapy: noticing unhelpful thinking patterns and responding to them differently. The basis of Thinking Traps at Work.
Acceptance and commitment therapy: acting in line with what matters even when stress or discomfort is present. Runs through all three workshops.
Dialectical behaviour therapy: skills for regulating emotion and staying effective in high-pressure moments. The basis of Managing Stress Under Pressure.
